Scarlett Johansson’s used tissue


The ‘Black Widow’ actress appeared on Jay Leno’s talk show with a cold when he handed her a tissue to blow her nose. She later signed the tissue and it was put online for fans to place their bids. The tissue eventually sold for $5,300 and proceeds from the sale are going to hunger charity USA Harvest.

Britney Spears’ chewing gum


A number of items have been listed online, claiming to have been used by the pop star. However, a piece of gum that Britney had spat out made its way to auction in 2004. The gum was eventually sold for $14,000 on eBay.

Justin Bieber’s milk glass


During one of Bieber’s trips to the UK, the singer had dinner at a small pub. One of the waitresses of the establishment put the glass the star drank from on eBay. The item gained a lot of attention with some fake bids of up to $92,000.

Nikki Grahame’s lost shoe


The ‘Big Brother’ star lost a shoe while getting into her car in 2015 after a Little Mix event. A passerby grabbed the star’s shoe, which had been run over by the cab, and put up for grabs online. Nikki flagged the auction, writing on Twitter: “I lost my shoe last night now it’s on eBay I’m actually going to have to buy my shoe back (sic)”.

John Lennon’s tooth


The music icon gifted his extracted tooth to his housekeeper in the 1960s. If that wasn’t weird enough, the tooth then sold online for $31,000 by a Canadian dentist. He said: “Once I heard it was up for sale I had to have it.”

Lady Gaga’s false nail


This is probably the most valuable thing picked up off the floor at the end of a gig. Back in 2012, one of Gaga’s fake nails fell off whilst she was on stage. One of the venue staff found it and auctioned it off on ArtFact.com and sold it for more than $12,000.

The training montage from ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ is one of the most memorable moments of the movie. That’s probably why Jennifer Lawrence’s outfit for that scene was sold for $3,175. The kit included the star’s sports bra and workout top.

When the singer visited a radio station in the US in 2000, he ordered some breakfast. The star ended up leaving his French toast almost untouched and the radio station auctioned it off for charity. Britney Spears’ pregnancy test


In 2005, the world of internet auctions was rocked by a listing of a pregnancy test said to belong to the ‘Toxic’ hitmaker. The auctioneer claimed they found the test in the rubbish bin of a hotel room in Los Angeles, where Britney was staying with her then-husband, Kevin Federline. The pregnancy test, which gave a positive result, sold for $5,000 and Britney later announced her pregnancy.
