There’s a new Italian gourmet store in South County. Neopolis Food Emporium opened earlier this month in South County Commons in South Kingstown. It’s from Pasquale’s Pizzeria Napoletana’s owner, chef Pasquale Illiano and across the way from the Pizzeria. Everything at the shop is housemade including gelato, fresh pasta, desserts and more. Staples of Naples are also on the menu including cheeses. Find more  at or on Instagram at neopolis_food_emporium_ri.

Crepe Corner has opened in Pawtuxet Village at 2170 Broad St., Cranston. Hours are 7 a.m to 2 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Guests will find a slightly scaled back version of the cafe at 1577 Westminster St., Providence, due to the fact co-owner Natacha Legein is still recovering from injuries sustained when she was hit by a car in the village on Sept. 21 after leaving the new cafe the night before it was to open in Cranston. Her husband and business partner, Anthony Adagboyi, reports that she is home from the hospital. Place orders via email: [email protected] or call the Providence cafe at (401) 537-7914.
