Meet the Battle Creek Enquirer Athletes of the Week, presented by Oaklawn Hospital.
Each week during the high school sports season, we ask our readers to vote for the top performance of the week in all sports, taking a look at events from Monday-Saturday.

Harper Creek Football
Harper Creek came up with a big 50-27 win over rival Marshall thanks to strong running game. William King had 20 carries, 137 yards and three touchdowns in the Interstate 8 Conference victory to send the Beavers to 3-2.
Lakeview beat both St. Philip and Pennfield in its bracket of the All-City Volleyball Tournament. The Spartans had steady play by Gabby Oursler all day from her libero position as the senior was a key leader with 27 digs.

Battle Creek Central Soccer
Battle Creek Central rolled over Charlotte in the first round of the boys soccer district tournament, 8-0. Joshua Nai Sang scored five goals for the Bearcats, to help them advance to the district semifinals.
Gull Lake Boys Cross Country
Koby Fraaza ran away with the individual title at the Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship, taking first in a time of 15:30.1, more than 20 seconds ahead of the field.
